Chime is a modern, elegant music streaming platform UI built to enhance user experience through bold visuals, intuitive navigation, and smooth interactions. It combines aesthetic design with a functional layout to provide users with an immersive experience in music discovery and playback.

Design a visually engaging yet functionally rich music streaming interface that balances discovery, personalization, and playback. The platform needed to appeal to a broad audience while delivering performance and responsiveness across screen sizes.
Our Solution
We crafted a responsive and accessible UI inspired by leading music platforms but with a unique visual identity. The layout organizes content into intuitive categories like Browse, Top Artists, and Personalized Recommendations while integrating a sleek, persistent Now Playing bar. Special attention was given to interactive elements, like real-time lyrics preview, active playlists, and media controls, to ensure seamless user interaction.

Brand Identity & Visual Language
The Chime interface emphasizes a dark theme with vibrant accents, aiming to create a cinematic feel. We chose a deep black background to let album art and artist images pop, with red-pink gradients reinforcing brand consistency. Typography was chosen to be bold yet modern, ensuring readability across UI sections.
Responsive & Scalable Design
Chime’s UI is built with scalability and responsiveness in mind. Whether on desktops or tablets, users enjoy a consistent experience. Component-based design allows for future scalability to mobile platforms and integration with backend audio services or third-party APIs.
User-Centric Personalization
The dashboard dynamically populates sections like 'Made For You' and 'Top Artists' based on user behavior. From cached user history to artist interactions, the personalization system is deeply embedded in the UI, driving engagement and making each session feel tailor-made.
Smooth Playback Experience
We built an intuitive Now Playing card that includes playback controls, real-time lyrics, and progress tracking. Playback actions are immediately responsive, and visual cues (like the highlighted progress bar and animated icons) create feedback loops that feel satisfying and natural.
